Before using an Equipoise Boldenone cycle, know what it is and what it’s used for in condoned medical treatment environments.
It’s also known by its generic name – Boldenone undecylenate.
EQ was developed in 1949 before Dianabol (Methandrostenolone), which makes it a predecessor as far as synthetic forms of Testosterone go.
The anabolic androgenic steroid is more commonly used as a veterinary grade steroid today than for the treatment of human medical issues. Buy legal steroids online here.

Equipoise Boldenone Definition
Equipoise is an injectable (intramuscular) form of Boldenone typically used on horses, hence one of its many brand names.
It’s only available by prescription through licensed veterinary sources.
The drug is commonly found and purchased from underground labs and black-market resources by bodybuilders around the world.
In veterinary environments, Equipoise steroid is used to:
- Counteract debilitating health caused by overwork or disease processes
- Encourage weight gain/muscle mass
- Influence positive physical condition
It should be noted that even in use on horses, Equipoise steroid does not work alone. It must be used in conjunction with proper dietary and nutritional intake and exercise.
The drug is not used very commonly even in veterinary circles because of the influence to increase aggression in animals.
As mentioned, it is a predecessor of Dianabol.
Actually, the connection is stronger than most people realize as Dianabol is Boldenone.
Dbol has a methyl group linked to its chemical structure, which is known as C17-alpha alkylation.
Those familiar with the C17-aa nature know that Dianabol is structured this way to become orally bioavailable in one’s body without being destroyed by the liver.
Technically speaking, Dianabol is actually C17-alpha-alkylated Equipoise.
Despite this, Dianabol is not widely considered an oral form of Equipoise. The methylation that occurred at the 17th carbon atom of Dbol made enough changes in terms of the drug’s properties that it is considered a completely different anabolic steroid from EQ.
Still, when the chemical structures of both drugs are compared it is clear that they have the same property except for the 17th carbon atom.
Legal Status of Using Equipoise Boldenone Steroid on Humans
When considering the use of a drug intended for animals on the human body, bodybuilders often equate the benefits seen in animals to translate to benefits for humans as well.
At the same time, safe dosage recommendations for use of Equipoise Boldenone steroid for bodybuilding or athletic performance enhancement are lacking.
It’s not recommended nor condoned for human use, so users will not find recommendations from physicians on a safe yet effective dosage regimen.
Laws governing Boldenone Undecylenate will vary depending on the region in which the product is being sold (and in the region in which it is being purchased).
USA: The anabolic compound known as Equipoise is categorized as a Schedule III drug by the Controlled Substances Act in the US.
This Act then dictates that a person caught in possession or use of Equipoise or any other form of Testosterone without a valid prescription will have committed a felony.
In addition, the trafficking, purchasing or importation of the Equipoise anabolic compound or any other steroid is actually considered to be a criminal act in the eyes of the law in the United States.
UK/ England: Boldenone is located in Schedule IV, which states that possessing and using Equipoise Boldenone in the absence of a prescription from a physician is allowed for personal use in the UK.
The importation of the anabolic steroid for personal use is however legal.
Canada: Canadian laws are similar to those in the UK. Equipoise falls under Schedule IV, which allows one to have the anabolic steroid for their own personal use.
Nevertheless, trafficking the drug is considered to be a serious felony in the eyes of Canadian law.
The laws in these major countries provide a sense of where EQ falls in different parts of the world with regard to current law.
Equipoise Boldenone Dosage
In horses, dosage standards hover at 0.5 mg per pound of the horse’s body weight. Does that mean that the same dosage recommendation should be used on humans? No.
Bodybuilders should also consider that despite its potency, Equipoise Boldenone is not a fast-acting anabolic androgenic steroid when it comes to increasing muscle mass.
For this reason, Equipoise steroid is often stacked (by bodybuilders) with other forms of testosterone to promote faster muscle growth and development.
What about dosage for humans? Reviewing a number of bodybuilding websites and accessing forms for discussion threads, potential users of Equipoise steroid will find a number of recommendations in regard to dosage.
You’ll find some suggest 50 mg a week. Others may recommend injecting as much as 400 mg a week.
On average, bodybuilders (males) tend to use anywhere between 200 mg to 400 mg on a weekly basis.
Women are cautioned to stick to lower dosages – under 100 mg on a weekly basis. The average? Anywhere from 50 mg to 75 mg per week.
Equipoise Boldenone Side Effects
Equipoise, like any other anabolic androgenic steroid, whether it’s used on humans or animals, does cause side effects.
One of the most common side effects associated with steroids is that it triggers suppression of endogenous or body-produced testosterone.
Testosterone suppression in males can contribute to:
- Testicular atrophy (shrinking testicles)
- Decrease in sperm production
- Lack of sperm production that contributes to the potential infertility
As Equipoise steroid has been noted to cause increased aggression in horses, it stands to reason that the same applies to its effect on the human brain. Caution is advised.
Women are also cautioned in regard to using Equipoise steroid because of its potential for virilization (virilism) – or promotion of male characteristic-type side effects. Some are potentially irreversible:
- Development or worsening of acne on the face, back, and chest
- A deeper voice
- Growth of hair on the face or body (hirsutism)
- Enlarged clitoris (clitoromegaly)
- Disrupted menstruation cycles
- Menstrual cessation (amenorrhea)
- Smaller breasts
Equipoise Boldenone steroid does provide benefits for bodybuilders and athletes in a number of functions, but those benefits should always be carefully weighed against the potential for side effects and adverse reactions.
Side effects are not always dosage-dependent.
Where To Buy Equipoise Boldenone Steroid
Equipoise Boldenone for sale is readily available from underground labs and black-market resources domestically and abroad.
However, always use caution before purchasing cheap Equipoise, Equipoise for sale, or “real” Equipoise from potentially disreputable suppliers.
Many bodybuilders look for information about good Equipoise Boldenone steroids from familiar sellers on bodybuilding forum board discussion group threads. In this way, a user may potentially avoid:
- counterfeited product
- contaminated product
- mislabeled product
- unknown ingredients
Milligram strength must also be factored into usage, costs, and potential risks. It wouldn’t be the first time that a bodybuilder received a product that was marketed as 25 mg per milliliter only to find it much stronger (or weaker) than expected.
The reverse is also true. In some countries, potential buyers will find Equipoise Boldenone in research listed as high as 200 mg per milliliter.
Know the facts before you use any anabolic androgenic steroid including Equipoise. Take the time to review medical research in regard to usage, benefits, and side effects.
