In order to prepare for Rambo First Blood 2, Sylvester hired two times Olympian Franco Columbu.
He only had six weeks in order to prepare his body for the role.
In the morning Sylvester Stallone’s bodybuilding would start with working his chest, back, and abs.
He then followed this workout with an afternoon of shoulders, arms, and abs again.
He did this every single Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings he would work his calves and thighs.
In the afternoon he did his rear deltoids, traps, and abs. He even used the same routine bodybuilders use during their preparation for competitions.
