“The effects of supraphysiologic doses of testosterone on muscle size and strength in normal men,” reported that supraphysiologic doses larger and more potent than naturally occurs
For example, these study participants received a dosage of 600 mg of testosterone enanthate on a weekly basis for 10 weeks (dosage six times higher than recommended for the treatment of hormone replacement therapy for hypogonadism).
They did show some benefits in body weight and composition, muscle size, and muscle strength – with an increased risk of side effects.
